Available to enjoy and to purchase were this year's handbound limited-edition letterpress printed chapbooks, one for the winner and one for the judge, as well as broadsides for each Honorable Mention. Sara Parkel printed a wonderful broadside of a poem by Stephanie Lenox, and Shanna Yarbrough contributed a a broadside for Matthew Thorburn. All of these publications are available in our online bookstore and at the Center, be sure to take a look the next time you visit us.

Open House

On Saturday, September 16th we began our fall season with the annual Fall Open House. We had the largest crowd we've seen in a good long time. Printing demonstrations were given by Amber McMillan and Delphi Basilicato; Ana Cordeiro gave a mini-boxmaking workshop; Gavin Dovey showed off his intricate custom leather boxes; Beatrice Coron gave a stencil cutting workshop. We got a last look at the summer exhibition, Mutilated/ Cultivated Environments, before it closed. We finished the day with a Lamination Ritual Performance with Ken Montgomery and Andrea Beeman.
Thanks to everyone who came by, and especially everyone who helped out.
